Limited Free diagnosis

Diagnosis is free where, if the repair is viable for a reasonable price, there is an expectation that we will carry out the work to fix the issue. In these situations, if we diagnose the issue but the customer decides to carry out the work themselves, then we may charge for this time. If the repair is not viable either technically or for a fair price, then there is no charge (except in certain circumstances – see below). We will also charge if you need a report for an insurance claim. If the device is a gaming or complex machine, sometimes a diagnosis might take up to an hour. In these cases, at our discretion, the cost for the diagnosis would be £30 including VAT. This amount will be deducted from the cost of the repair if you decide to ask us to complete the work.
